The Philadelphia Police Department’s Central Detectives Division is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect who robbed an automotive repair shop in West Poplar.

On July 10, 2013, at 10:55am, an unknown male entered the parking lot of Arm Enterprise located at 1234 Ridge Avenue and approached an employee of the shop asking questions about vehicle inspection stickers. The suspect then pulled a handgun from his left pants pocket and pointed it at the complainant demanding the vehicle inspection stickers. When the complainant ran into the office, the suspect fired two shots into the garage area. The complainant then ran from the office across Ridge Avenue with the offender chasing him. When the suspect caught up to the complainant at Ridge Avenue and Greene Street he placed the gun to the complainant’s back forcing him back to the shop. After taking inspection stickers and an undetermined amount of cash the suspect fled on foot north on Ridge Avenue.
